about

A favourite track of ours - actually the third arrangement that we've recorded, another version ends this album, the original version was by Midnight Choir (Sheffield based band of the late 80s which featured Ziggy on vocals and Nick on guitar - some of these old songs will soon be available on Bandcamp). Bass by Simon Barfield. Mozaz's favourite mosh-pit song. Dog Canute logo by our friend Jack Beals, Florida.

lyrics

first incision, delivered by a blade
dragged into light, I kick my life away
I'm angry, can't you see?
upset the apple-cart
square peg in a round hole - it doesn't fit at all

I kick it over, I kick it out
watch me, just watch me..

the meat on my fist, also fills my head
all the blood I've spilled, it becomes my bed

home is where the heart is
home is where they fall
you're the fear I need
watch me flex

you're the fear I need

watch me flex
